HSP 1/8 crawler
Im looking to buy a crawler rtr and seen the hsp 1/8 scale.Are these worth the purchase and can you upgrade these with other parts?How good are they right out of the box and what upgrades is a must for these if there worth the purchase.

I feel you would be better off buying a name brand rig in the 2.2 class. If you want a cheap crawler the Exceed Max Stone is not to bad but for a few more dollars you could build a venom creeper. If you don't mind used you can find Axial and losi crawlers rtr for 200-250 dollars.

Ok,thanks for info and no i dont mind to spend $250.00 thats about what im looking to spend.Dont know nothing about the trucks just trying to get some help on what one to get,i really like the 1/8th scale trucks but again just looking for a good deal on something that i can get parts for and hop-up a little.

Yup, the venom creeper is a pretty good kit. It doesn't come RTR though, you have to build it and buy the motor and ESC seperate, unless they make a RTR that I'm not aware of. Also unless you have some serious terrain near you 1/8 crawlers are pretty big, so you need big
rocks to crawl or it may get boring.

If price really does not bother you a whole lot then name brand is the way to go. The big companies offer better quality, parts support, and design. They also have much larger aftermarket support. Here are some brands I would suggest getting.
