Default cross rc 6x6

Hey, I am not sure if this qualifies as a crawler, but it is slow as balls and relies on low gearing so what the heck? Sure, close enough. My friend just bought one of these cross rc 6x6, and the detail is awesome. All the marker lights and signal lights and everything works. Its super cool. The problem is the factory drive shafts arent worth their weight in dog turds, as all 3 drive shafts have fallen apart completely before even getting a battery through them. they have this lame pin design that just presses in and they fall out constantly. Do you guys know of a metal after market drive shaft set(x3 drive shafts) that would work for this thing?

Not offhand, but you might try e-mailing RC4WD, Junfac, MIP, or any other brand out there, and ask. In the mean time, have your friend take a small piece of heat shrink tube, and shrink it around the pins, it'll keep them in, and give him some run time until he finds a replacement.

thats genius! Thanks mike! The best we came up with so far is stick body pins in there because they stay a bit better.

Looks like a crawler to me. i'm not sure of the spec's on that truck but look in to punisher shafts. there might be even be a MIP or another brand. if you can find the info about your shaft size and input size that would help.

Punisher shafts ended up being the solution. the Shrink tube didn't work because of how the universal joint was set up and how it attached to the yolk.
