The 6X6 is a project that's been on the back burner for years.

The tracked equipment is toy grade Hobby Engine stuff and entry level working hydraulic r/c.

My RR10 Bomber with and without the Proline F100 body . It has a Tekin FXR ESC, Tekin 40T,Protek150 servo,Proline fault line wheels,Vanquish stage one kit, vanquish trusses, servo mount and clamps, Team Assosiated 120 mm light bar. Future upgrades are RC4Wd light pods ,Wertymade winch plate,Carter fab inner finders. I plan on moving all the lighting electronics up front over the front axil and running them off a receiver 3s Lipo pack.

My Feedback: (15)
I build scale model airplanes so I needed something to move them about when on pavement. Well, what about converting a rock crawler into an Airport Tug? A few cuts to the crawler rails and framing up the shell. Used the rear tire holder to fashion the tow bar connector to the Tug. The cowl of the airplane that is visible in two photos is that of the TBF Avenger (109" Wing Span) that I am building. Chic

BennyB - thanks. I belong to PGRC an RC club in Bowie, Md. even though I live in Virginia. Have flown out west also, the owner of Hobby Hangar brings us out to a full scale grass field. I'm building the Avenger now here on RCU: Airplanes, Warplanes and Warbirds - Charles Kellogg TBM Avenger Build. The Airport Tug is for showing off of course. The weight of the airplanes slows the Crawler down to a nice crawl. Chic

My Feedback: (15)
Mike Flea - this is the second one I have built. The first one was far too expensive. I used the Vaterra SlickRock chassis. Worked fine but the expense was beyond the need. This one is using the WLtoys 12428 1/12 4WD Crawler. Big engine, should pull a 35+ prop or jet model around with relative ease especially on airport taxi/runways. The first one was sold to a hobby store dealer. This one when finished will be mine. Thanks for the compliment. Will post a finished photo. Chic
