Default Ball links are too tight

Just purchased this for my kid and I know it's not top of the line but the ball links are so tight the suspension won't work...I've used a ball link resizing tool to free up the heli links...do these RC cars have something similar? The weight of the car should allow the suspension to reach full travel before lifting the trailing wheel. (Heli resizing tool is too large)

Hi Heli Addict.
the little temper crawler is a interesting crawler. iv'e read that it does have a few issues but can be a cool rc. if the balls are plastic maybe try sanding them just a very little amount.
One of the guys here has done some work on his temper. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/1-16...view-mods.html
it might not just be the ball links that are holding the suspension up.
