Anyon take a Tamiya 1/32 scale truck and convert it to a crawler???

Take the tires and the body, throw away the rest. The tires are pretty soft and works fine.

That's not an RC car. It only goes in a straight line, turn on and go type truck. I actually turned one of those in an r/c car. Except the body wouldn't fit back on and it didn't perform too well. I cut the car horizontally in the middle, bought another motor and pinion gear (one motor for each half chassis). A servo connected the two chassis together and it would twist the car to turn. I wired up the motors to an esc and plugged it all together. It worked but without a differential, it hard a tough time turning at high speeds and would roll because it was top heavy.
