basically all you will use in a Clod is the front and rear gearboxes.... The rest will be aftermarket and a deep wallet! [sm=biggrin.gif]
The stock Clod has very little articulation as the aftermarket chassis's are wonderful in that department.

IMHO Those stock clods that are going for $150+ on ebay are way overpriced. You can get a brand new clod on tower hobbies (less radio of course) for $184, and then i think they are offering a $15 discount on orders over $150. I've been watching the clods on ebay for the last few weeks and the prices they are going for are insane. The prices rise and fall over time so you'll see people paying over 150 for used, beat up, stock clods for a while, then you'll start to see the prices fall and it will be hard to get rid of one rtr for $120. I've seen a few rtr's go for under $100 a while ago.
The funniest thing i've found is when people pay $150 for just the gearboxes....LOL

its not stock its a rock crawler already has locked axles 8 t pinions ajustable motor mounts to fit 8 to 14 tooth pinions and piggyback shocks and his own custom desined chassis and he sells the chassis alone for nerly 50 bucks also has cut tires
