i orderd my tlt its in the mail from ebay 100 bucks
my links are in the mail from tower 30 bucks
still need
1 controler
2 esc
3 drive lines (what should i use for these)
4 motor
5 tires and rims

2 your choice (i use a LRP runner for mine... works great..)
3 stampede shafts are popular
4 55t Integy lathe motors are nice and slow with lots of power/torque
5 masher 2000's, or swampdogs.. i like the swamps because it is a more scale look...

thanks and i was thinking of the clod radio and the 55 t lathe motor and a intillispeed
and what you said to do with my shafts i did it and it work s great

nevermind my tlt is under 50 bucks and already has 4 ws hooked up and servos are there with a 17 t motor and looks like it has t maxx links but camt tell from the pics but hear are some

thats cool... i havent done many mods to my TLT.. i want to do the driveshaft thing so i can move links from bottom to behind axle... but im working on a custom clod chassis right now... simple.. but for performance.... will post pics asap...

what links should i use to make this into a 18 scale crawler

Theres a good article in the june addition of RC car Action on how to convert the tlt into a big boy, they used monster GT links and mostly original parts, I did it and it looks good, except I can't find any driveshafts for it, I need some that are around 100-105mm in length.

I would use the cen mt2 shafts if I could find some, I don't have a LHS so everything I buy is onlne, does anyone know where I could find them?
