im considering (if my truck dose not sell on ebay) to turn it electric im fabing a mounting plate for the motor now and keep the stock tranny locked and axles locked and mabey get a cage and build a tube chassis of that what do you think my stock x factor is awseome but i shorly found out that nitro sucks
i want through the stock 24.7 motor and one ofna 25 and on my 3rd engine anether ofna 25
so im going to convert to electric and going to use a traxxas xl 1 esc i have it and i like that esc and a 550 tamyia motor and a 12 tooth pinion so i think it will work so if you can help thanks

Yes, the X would really crawl well with electric power.
I was going to see how I could drop an E-Maxx twin motor setup into my X2. The X is pretty heavy, one 550 might not be enough...
If you figure a new E-maxx at $295, take out what you need (motors, tranny, EVX), and sell the rest as a roller, the conversion should come out at around $200. The advantage is that you're getting a two speed transmission that's geared for electric power - the X is geared for nitro engines.
XTM should listen up. An E-XFactor would, IMO, be a profitable addition to their product line.
