i'm buildin an xmod f150 /maybe a jeep body
i did the lift,tire,lower gear,new motor,4wd kits.
+ locked front & rear diffs.
when i come up to a rock it just doesnt have enough power to climb up.
unless i ram it a little.
has anybody figured out how to getr even lower gears, or enough power to climb rocks??

I have the H2 and I was thinking the same thing. I found that the stock motor with the lower gearing works pretty good.
Mine did ok in stock form with the lift and 4wd.....it needed very little help going up a 60+ degree ditch. And it waz covered in mud
LMK if you find out anything else.

i am thinking about making a gear reduction that uses a gutted out/top chopped out motor with a gear in the middle/ with a motor mounted on top of that & forward a little..
would be alot lower geared that way.

didnt figure out how to make it lower geared yet.
i'm gonna get the bearing kit & maybe that will allow it to climb better with less friction.

heres my progress so far

hey this guy selling his xmod. it can crawl pretty good (he sent me a video.). its not a truck but he says it has an offroad conversion. it has lithium batteries and that would probably help give u more power to get up rocks check it out its item #189126.i hope he goes down on the price. it looks pretty cool. u could ask him about it more.
