possible, yes.... You can convert anything into a "rock crawler". But you can turn a wheely king into a WAY BETTER rock crawler for way less work and/or money.... An independent suspension truck made for speed and jumps just wont cut it as a rock crawler... Yes you can make it crawl over rocks, but a wheely king or AX-10 crawler will crawl circles around it... by the time you make it into a decent rock crawler, it will be VERY far from being a savage....
So basicaly, yea you can turn a savage into a rock crawler.... just like you can turn a geo metro into a race car....

You just have to do a straight axle conversion. Many people have done this with E-Maxx trucks. Look up how they did that.
Also if it is nitro then get rid of the nitro engine and get a nice 55 turn electric one
