Green is my favorite color. I know the orange comes with better tires, body, links, etc... but I would still buy the green and then upgrade if needed.

Plus you get to build it.

I prefer a kit, but the ARTR ( 0) is the better crawler out of the box.

The ARTR has aluminium links, better tires, and a better body for crawling.

It doesn't include electronics, but the RTR electronics are pretty much junk IMO.

Integy 35-55t motor. $20.00
Sidewinder ESC $75.00
And good 3 channel radio $59.00
A high torque servo 200 ozs minimum. $100.00
7 cell 1500 NiMh pack $300.00
You Can build it yourself, just go slow and follow the instruction. That way you'll be able to repair and modify it on your own.

Any 35-55t lathe motor($20-$50.00) and a Castle Sidewinder ($75.00)

2. will it work with futuba 2 chanel radio/receiver?

Yes

3.do motors come with pinion if not what pinion do i need?

No they don't, 14 tooth should get you in the ballpark.

4.do i need any connectors/plugs for the motor to esc?

Yes, either bullet connectors or switch things over to deans.
