ax 10 rtr advice
I just got the new ax 10 rtr and im wondering what i should do with it. Im new to the rock crawlers what are good upgrades to get
also what is a dig

get metal links for the suspension and steering and get a better steering servo. Get better tires. Trim and lower the body. Install the locker in the front.
In RC Crawling, dig generally refers to the ability to lock the rear tires up and apply power only to the front tires. This allows a truck to turn much sharper because the rear tires aren't pushing and are actually dragging a bit.

high clearence links.
notch your skidplate so you can move the lower links inside the chassies.
lock your front diff.
get new tires.
dicth those stiff ass stock springs.
get a 45-65t motor.
go 4 link on your uppers.
a dig allows you to LOck your rear wheels, disengage the rear drive shaft, and go full 4x4.
it requires the dig itself, a servo, and a 3ch radio.
