Default Losi Mini Crawler Tire Size

Anyone happen to know if the Losi Mini Crawler will take 1/10 (12mm hex) tires....If so does it need adapters or would they directly bolt on ??? Thank you.

Losi MRC does use 12mm hexes so 1/10 wheels and tires will fit as far as the hex goes.

a lot of dudes round hear cut down 2.2 tires to fit their 1.9 rims.

'specially the scaler dudes.

there is a specif type of glue i know nothing about that bonds the cut tires almost seamlessly

You're right about steering. Most guys that I've seen who are running larger tires like the 1.9 Flat Irons run wideners to keep the tires from hitting the links. This is especially true for those who have been running modified Panther Cougars on their MRCs.

Some people use IC2000 rubberized CA. But really, just about any quality CA will work. If you plan on modifying a set of 2.2s to fit 1.9 rims, thin CA works pretty good. The IC2000 is flexible, but it's kinda thick and can be a bit of a pain to work with.

What kind of widners do you use and could you maybe give me a couple web links to a place I can take a look at and buy the necessary widners to adapt the tires to the Losi mini Crawler ???? I got the Pro-Line Chisel 2.2 G8 tires....Thanks I really appreciate your help...!!

Those tires will be way too big for those axles I think. Those tires are huge on a 2.2. Here's a link to wideners:
