What is Ideal Gearing on an AX10?
I just upgraded my stock 27T motor to a 55T. I have kept the same gearing so obviously I lost a lot of top end. What is an ideal pinion gear to run to gear up and get some wheel speed back?
Currently is a 14Tpinion 87Tspur. Is there a good frame of reference to go by or just put on and test?

What betteries are you using?
Was there a problem with torque when using the 27T?
I ran a 55T on 4s with a 14 tooth pinion and it would get up and move (and had PLENTY of low end torque).
Maybe try a 20T pinion and see what you think.

RE: What is Ideal Gearing on an AX10?
I am running 3S with the 55T and there was not enough torque with 27T which is why I put in a 55T.
What is a good measure for too much top speed and not enough torque? I want a good balance.
Thanks!
