I am going to get into rock crawling. I have been running rc cars for some time. I was woundering what the best crawler is for cheap under $200. I want to put all the parts in my self so a kit would be fun.

if your just messing around and having fun get oone of axials kits, all of them are good, but if you want to get into rock crawling competions then go for the losi comp crawler

if you get a regular crawler-comp crawler,axial,venom you are mostly overmatched at most comps. a better buy though more money is a moa (motor on axle) such as the bully dog from rc4wd.com, crawl anywhere, anytime in any 2.2 class.

For a beginner crawler under $200, I would suggest the Venom Creeper.

It's a decent crawler that with get you into crawling on a budget.

i got the venom .
my first crawler, i would say it's very capable my self but i have not had any or the others to compare it to
i was not into it very much so that is a bonus too!!
i have an uncle who has darn near a thoussand dollars into his axial scorpion. WOW......
so i dont feel bad. cant wait to run mine against his!!!!

i have a question,i am waiting for a crawler king to come in.i also ordered the low gear kit.should i just install it from the start?has anybody used it both ways?which is better?pretty much just gonna crawl with it,thanks.,lee.
