Venom Creeper 1/10
 

I just purchase a venom creeper and was wanting to know a few things about these trucks.What are some good hop-ups or mods that i can do to make the truck better.Also what does a dig unit do and would i need one of these to put on the truck?It came with a novak 45T motor is this a good motor for climbing or what gear ratio would be best for climbing and hard pulls?

whatup dude. I've built more than my shareof snakes. 2 things:1st, take your timeon the tranny.Build it well. Too much unwarranted venombashing goes on cuz dudes don't pay attention when they put it together. 2nd-not sure if venom has addressed this-cvd pins falling out. If it hasn't happened, it will. Get a piece of tubing that just slides over the output shaft. Put the pin in, then slide the small piece of tubing over it. Taper the ends just a little, to keep them from falling off, &amp; you should be straight. Of course there's wheel weighting,steering setups,rear lockouts blah blah blah...........You'll learn as you go. They're great rigs-when set up right.
