Installation of winch
 

I shall be shortly installing a winch onto my new crawler truck and I'm looking for a bit of advice on how best to operate it. The winch comes with an electrical connection for the receiver but is not one with a separate remote control unit. Would it typically be able to operate from a spare channel on my transmitter using a 3 position switch (i.e. extend / stop / retract)? Thanks.

I think it largely depends on your controller and what type of function you can program into it.
