1/10 venom creeper axle problem
 

I purchased this venom creeper a few weeks ago. It was used and needed a battery, transmitter and receiver. I got all that but yesterday i was looking it over, I'm still waiting for the lipo charger, and noticed the front left wheel was turning freely. It is like a stripped or broken something is going on. I tore it all down and inspected the steering knuckles, axles and differential gears but i saw nothing more that 1 bearing that was a little rough. I reassembled it and it is still having the same problem. All other wheels are locked up but the left front. Does anybody have an idea what it could be. To me, it makes absolutely no sense but this is the first upper class crawler i have ever owned so maybe I'm missing something. Thanks all.

The best I can say is you missed something. Did you disassemble both sides to compare? I am unfamiliar with the Venom but generally with things like that if it not outright broken it may be a wear related item that is no longer making contact when assembled.
