whats up with it? whats the diff. between the super clod and the regular clod? besides the $$$?

The only differences are:
-Different Body(The license on the old kit expired this is the reason for the new kit)

-Different Color (some of the aprts have been changed from blue to red)

-Price (like stated above)

From what I have read about the new Clod it is really a bit of a tribute model. It's still a good crawler but light years behind the TXT-1, which by all accounts is really the one to get now. It's bound to be one of those collectable Tamiyas of the future though.

That is not entirely true if you look at the organized rc crawling events the clod is still over crawling competition .It may not be the most up to date truck but It does still have the platform to come out on top with some minor work.But I do agree the txt is a awesome truck out of the box.

I did a little research and does have 4ws.:D I think I will buy the new clod for my rock crawler project that I will start over the summer.[sm=greedy.gif]

Yep it is a normal clod with a slightly different body and blue in color instaed of red.

Why is the Super Clod cheaper than the old one. Super is 2$209 for the kit and old is bout $235

The only thing I can think of is there is no license on the new body so that probably saves them money on each kit they sell
