Bead locks
Who makes beadlock wheels for the emaxx? Or any of the other monster trucks?

RE: Bead locks
Maximizer Products makes several different kinds of beadlocks.
I've been very happy with mine, they've proven very tough. http://www.themirrorpool.com/images/...ocks_1_600.jpg |
RE: Bead locks
how do the beadlock rims work? do they make them for 2.2" tires?
|
RE: Bead locks
Not sure about 2.2s but I assume someone somewhere makes them...
Beadlocks have pieces that bolt together to lock the bead into place. No glue is used. Assembly is a bit more time-consuming that just gluing some tires together, but it can easily be undone. Plus if you're running aluminum wheels you don't have to worry about getting ca to stick to aluminum. The maximizers have an inside 'tube' and a wheel face which bolt together. Depending on the tire you're running they also have some rings (called rage rings) that allow you to run a low profile or thin bead tire (like most of the Proline tires) |

oh, I C, thanks for the info, I think I may stay with the gluing for a while 'till I save up
