Clod questions

ok so i just bought a custom crawler, however, some of the set ups that were on it were not to my liking so im looking for a few things..

first, how do most people hook up their 4 wheel stearing? currently it is set up using the ones from this site. [link=http://www.rcguy.com/products/steeringkit/steeringkit.php]stearing[/link] there are a few problems with the way they have chosen to set it up. first of, the stearing link sticks out quite a bit. the other prob is that it doesnt hold the servo very solid. ive looked at most peoples crawlers and can see they have it set up different so that the stearing links, and the link that connects the 2 tires runs parrellel....thats what i want. ;)

second, how do most people set up their suspension? the current set up uses like rubber clamps to connect the shocks to the links and either through wear or just wrong size clamps, they slip a lot.

any help would be great and if someone has a good way to mount the stearing, if they could direct me to a good site where i can get some brackets that would be cool, otherwise its time to bust out the aluminum snips hehe.

RE: Clod questions

well i already have the chassis, links and what not set up, the only thing that is messed really, is the servo mount. I am also trying out some new body post set ups, since the ones that came with it are both heavy and tall heh. what ive been thinking about doing is using rpm e-maxx body mounts since if i cut a slot in the current chassis they will slide perfectly. [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBGB2&P=7]rpm mounts[/link] then all i would have to do is make some kind of spavers on the top of them so they would fit flush.

cool, thanks for the feedback, at the moment, my clod project ended up getting put on the back burner due to real life things...but eventually it will get there lol.
