Custom TLT Crawler

I'm planning on building a TLT crawler/off-roader with the HPI FJ40, Clodbuster Chevy Body, or the Blackfoot extreme wheelbase. I'm more into scale driving. I wan't to ask which Traxxas tranny should get? I'd say this rig would be for 60% crawling and 40% flat dirt with Proline Dirt Hawg II Truck 2.2 Tires. Any useful info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

first HPI doesn't make the fj40 and second you should vist it rccrawler.com

Thanks for the extra info but if anyone else out here has useful info about the Traxxas tranny, I would appreciate it ;)..

its the pede/rustler tranny that people use. my question is if u can use it on the stock chassis?

maybe with some mods.. but maybe not

people use the stampede/rustler tranny, but some people also use the losi tranny from a xxx t truck.. etc...
