t-maxx crawler??anyone?
 

seen the revo crawler and dam that thing doesnt seem to bad for the IFS....i wanna do some mild crawlin, plan to get spools (f/r),gunna gear it down(whats the best gear ratio?),tire/wheels?(whats good?),have a 4in extend chassis(for a longer wheelbase), has any tmaxx owners done some cool mods to get there truck to flex? other then goin all out wiht a 4 link etc etc

well to staer a t-maxx is really not a good truck to crawl for a few reasons. first off being that it has an independent suspension meaning no flex. and the other is that it is nitro which means no torque at low RPMs. if you wanna make it into one you will want to somehome lock out the A-arms to make them solid, theres a few dif ways ppl have done that. then do the whole custom chassis thing.

but really i would suggest not doing it because then you will have a truck that now cant do anything well. right now they bash great and run fast. make it into a semi crawler and you will have a weak crawler and a weak basher.

have u seen the revo crawler? thats the "type" im lookin to set my truck up for, mild crawling not to wild(yet ill get a emaxx for that), i really dont bash to much anymore and not lookin for speed out of the maxx(got the jato for that), i like to climb hills etc etc, that revo for havein IFS had some flex which looks like pleanty for me,.. would i put softer springs in to get more flex"? what are good tires?
