rc pulling

Ok did a search and really didnt come up with anything. Looked on google and ebay with no luck so hopefully u all can help me. I want to build my own pulling sled. I need some plans to figure out the size and gear ratio's used etc. So if any of u all know of any sites that give this info please help me. Or atleast some manufactures of sleds. Thanks.

There are some pictures of a sled [link=http://www.angelfire.com/pa/hootchas/]on this page[/link].

I couldn't find much else, either. I hope this helps you :-)

Is there anywhere I can find info on rc pulling? What trucks do you use? Electric or Nitro? And any other info would be greatly accepted.

Thanks

Good luck in your search :-)

I have seen both electric and nitro used, but most opt for gasoline power becase of the added weight and torque they provide... perfect for pulling.

If your building a puller and want to compete follow NR/CTPA rules. They have a ton of different classes electric and nitro.
Here are a couple pics of my truck. this truck pulls in the 15# 2wd nitro class.

RE: rc pulling

Anyone know any resources for pulling bodies? I might want to enter 2wd Sportsman class and the limit is 24 inches. I know Parma used to make a chevy pulling body that was long enough.

RE: rc pulling

I know exactly what body your talking about. I think a company called sassy chassis now has that mold. or one just like it.
I know there are a few guys that produce different pulling bodies but I'm not exactly sure who they are. I will try and get some info for ya!!
