i love building things im building a gas boat n build stuff 4 my trucks al the time i just want to know if i got the diffs with servos 4 steering on them already wif motors is it hard to build a frame for a rock clawer corrst me if im wrong but it looks like 2 alloy plates ?? is it better to have the motors on the diffs or on the frame rails also how much its a set of diffs for a rock crawler ??? thanx i would like all the help you can give me thanx pics of a ezy build would be great aswell thanx |
RE: top to bottom help needed
Most people like to build their own frames. Tamiya Clod Buster axles seem like what you want. The motors are mounted on each axle and the servos can also be mounted directly on the axles.

RE: top to bottom help needed
From reading your question I can tell you have not look much in depth to crawling vehicles. Much info can be found with a search. There is no such thing as an easy build and there are really no RTR cralerws out there with out paying a price for a custom chassis to be assembled and shipped.
[link=http://www.thecrawlerstore.com/complete_trucks.htm]The Crawler Store[/link] offers RTR packages, but the prices are high. Crawling is a fairly new RC sport and requires a little know how and enginuity to get into. There are other forums on the net to, like RCC, if you search for them. I love RCU but it is lacking thus far on the crawler information end of things. |
