CC Sidewinder Programming - No Reverse
I've recently bought a CC Sidewinder for my crawler. I'm using it with an external CC BEC to handle the servos for my brushed motor 55T
To program it, I did the following: . Pulled the trigger on maximum (100 EPA) throttle and turned on the ESC, the light turned flashing green. . When the light turned flashing red, I pushed the trigger forward at brake position (100 EPA) . When flashing yellow, I relieved it to neutral, then it turned solid yellow. The crawler works fine with moving forward and steering, but there is NO reverse. What am I doing wrong? I'm using a Futaba 3PM 2.4ghz radio system. Thanks in advance. |
RE: CC Sidewinder Programming - No Reverse
Those are a pain to set without the link. I had a hell of a time catching the beeps etc. Your best solution is to have your rc ready to go on a table and call castles 800 # and let them walk you thru the setup. I did and have since gotten a link.

Just spend the extra $20 for the Castle Link and then you can set the ESC the right way to handle a brushed motor.

RE: CC Sidewinder Programming - No Reverse
I guess I can spend another 20 bucks. Is this also for brushed motor since it only mentions brushless?
http://www.helidirect.com/product_in...roducts_id=311 Castle website also says that the adapter software does not support brushed controller, but no mentions of the brushed motor. Thanks. |
