Default How much wight ?

Hi , I just bought a new sail boat from hobby king ,Angel.
the instruction does not say how much wight to use in the ballast. The boat has 0.4 m2 surface , am thinking to start with 1.6 kg (3.5 lb). Any advice?
Thanks

Without any clues as to the boat, it's all guesswork, but if it has a fin bulb that needs filling, just pour mixed size lead shot into it until it's full. Generally speaking, you can't get too much weight into a supplied bulb, using mixed sizes of shot lets a lot more pack in.
