Default My new 2m Class Trimaran - first hydrofoiling trials

A week ago I did the first foiling trials with my latest design, the 2m class trimaran Naga.
The boat is great fun to sail but a pain to transport due to the size.

Still much to adjust and trim, I'm waiting for a suitable weekend for the next trials.

Here is where having independent control of the jib would come in real handy. As you come up on the foils the power of the jib forces you into a turn and trying to tune that with just a rudder is unrealistic.
