ORIGINAL: hoghappy

ayyyyyyyyyeee....I be working on one although she be currently raiding the seven seas....she is still fitting out between voyages.

Thats a nice ship there Hoghappy! I first saw it on another website as was very interested in the ship.

I am a scratch builder with experience in WWI to WWII era warships, but I am coming over to the dark side of "Wooden Ships & Iron Men". I am going to purchase a ship soon so I can get on the water as soon as possible. Probably a Star 45, then comes the fun of the build. I am wondering if there is a set of plans out there for the Prince that is available for sale?

Hey McSpuds...welcome and thanks.

I'm not aware of a set of plans, but the Smithsonian may have some or Philip Roberts may sell or know where to get some. You can get up with him at:

He is the builder of the kit I put together. A very nice guy.

That's a great boat! Where did you get the plans and what type of wood did you use? I have been looking for schooner plans and not had much luck.

Thanx

Thought I'd throw in a update of another Robbe Valdivia build I just finished. This one I had added a few modifications to.
