IOM measurements

I am making an IOM from scratch, and would like to know some measurements. My boat is not for racing, but if someone (or some people) could tell me these measurements in their boats, that would be great. I know all boats vary, but I don't want to be completely wrong.

Length of hull: (should be 100cm)
Distance from bow to mast:
Distance from bow to keel:
Distance of front of keel to back of keel:
Distance of Bottom of keel to where the keel meets the hull:
Distance of back of keel to transom:

Thanks a lot - if I am lucky, I will have this boat running by Christmas!

RE: IOM measurements

Mate, are you just making one or are you "DESIGNING" and then making one?

If you are designing a IOM from scratch then the best of luck. [>:]
The measurements you ask for may be supplied by contributers here and you may get an average, but that may or may not help you complete your design.
There are so many inter-related factors that will depend on your basic concept that frankly need some design experience to make work together.
Is your IOM to be a FAT one, THIN one, AVERAGE beam, Round bilge, Single hard chine, Multi chine, PLY or GLASS, what is your designs prismatic coefficient?
Do you prefer the skiff deck or the covered deck, deck or keel stepped mast.

I sound like a KNOCKER and that is not my normal manner. :D
I want to encourage you and will send you some measurements when I have done them on my hull.
I would also suggest that you look for the free plans you can download for the "Triple Crown" design.
All the hard work has been done for you and you can get on with the building of a yacht that has been proven to sail well.
Once you have that operational and have some experience of sailing, you could look at doing your own design.
Best wishes.

RE: IOM measurements

Oh my goodness I am dumb.

I got the hull design of the amya website (www.amya.org). I built the formers, planked it, fibregrassed it, epoxied in bulkheads, etc.

I forgot that the plans might tell me where to put the mast...

Still, I would still be interested to here boat measurements, even though I don't need it any more. I still can't believe that I didn't check the plans...
