Camel story:
BUSA pup bash.....
Added 2 bays and a Camel wing tip
Built Mick Reeves fuse up to the cock pit and the morphed it to the BUSA frt end
Cut 25 % off the top of the BUSA pup ribs to give it a thinner wing chord
Made the hood from the M. R. plans
Pretty simple really......I expect BUSA to kit this next year! LOL!!!

Very cool. Thanks for the info. It appears to fly wonderfully, and I look forward to seeing it all painted up.

Hey Paul.....the ODP is fast approaching!
With the Scale Nationals coming up this next weekend, I needed to get the N-11 cleaned up and add another bell & whistle or two.......so I had to take time off from getting the Hergt finished. I hope to get back on it and get it ready for your show, B U T ! you know me, that probably ain't gonna happen........I guess Greg was right - it should fly this season (sometime!)
So as it stands now, I have two planes that were supposed to be ready this season's Dawn Patrols......the operative phrase here is "supposed to be".
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the OHIO DAWN PATROL !

You are correct about the ODP event right around the corner! The ODP crew has been working on the flying site since June .... The place looks spectactular! I hope the heat goes away soon ...we almost had heat stroke this weekend doing the driveway and the parking lots![:@][:@][:@] Man it was hot!
I have been trying to get a picture of Jeff Cutter so some of you can put a face with a name and when you see him in a couple of weeks you can thank him for the shower and HOG!! He likes to be the man behind the scenes and stay out of the lime light but I think he deserves to be called out this year and tell him how much we appreciate his efforts!

Jeff and I took our first load of support equipment down to the field Monday night, one of many for sure.
I can't believe we are less than two weeks away.......The weather looks promising (which means probably not 105f).......YES!
The field looks great....couple of brown spots.....[&o] We have new larger camping area (one with noise and without........"generators")
We added new electric in the campgrounds and at the pavillion.
We will be ready! You will not need alot on this trip.....Just bring your planes and we will provide the rest!

The companion book is very good, I actually got one for Christmas a couple of years ago. My two year old lugs it down from the bookshelf & we pour over the pages together; both of us drooling on it.
