Default Identitfy this Cessna L19 Birddog

I got myself a beautiful Cassna L-19 Birddog's model. I'm not sure if this is kit built or scratch built model, but i think it's scratch built model and have no clue from who's plans or kit.

It's missing wing struts and engine cowl. Can we regain it's identity first and then if anyone knows where to get a cowl for it.

Model has:

88"wingspan
60" length
Has wooden engine box with 4 screws, so I'd say it was built as gas powered model.
Scale Fowler flaps and scale ailerons are on both wing panels with corrugation on the surfaces.

Wing is 2 piece, that bolts on to the side of the fuselage and wing strut carries the flight loads, scale flying struts...

I will add more pictures later on....

It could be a kit from years back from a company called Circus Circus Hobbies, I had one and seems to me that was the size of it.

Ikon N' WST has a similar sized Bird Dog. Most Ikon kits had the wings attached by a bolt from inside the cockpit into a blind nut in the root rib.

It's interesting that both of these links have very very close resemblance to this model!, yes wings bolt on to fuse side and there is a nut that tights on rear screw stud from inside the fuse root rib as Lake Flyer mentioned
According to Vailly, it's 1/5th scale due to it's diementions and looks there cowl will fit on it. Model is missing right door, so wondering whose plans to get to make this door properly....

Thanks guys, it's looking good so far...

Anyone knows scale wheels size for 1/5 scale Bird dog models?

I have nice pair of 4.50" wheels with metal hubs, thinking of installing those on this model, but also don't want them to look too big either...any ideas?
