The 60% stuff is the wrong stuff for this kind of work. Too hot. Surface area is what gives solder or glue a chance in holding; not enough with either and it will break. 60% is true structural solder or soft braze. I Use the JBW on carbon fiber rods and metal to wood or CF. JBW s how attached the trailing edges on my Reeves Camel. I have also used the 5 minute kind to fix stuff at the field like landing gear and it can work for a long time but not permeant with high shock joints.
