It is for a while - the rest of this year anyway. Somewhere down the road I intend on getting a proper pilot some of my scale friends don't think very highly of 'Bones'.

Progress Report:

The other side now has the panel and the appropriate stitching on the forward fuselage. Here is a shot of the aforementioned rear hatch ………




The rudder is "nekked". Tail number 1334 needs to be added. On the ORA's reproduction the tail # was all that was on the rudder. I will probably draw that up and cut it out of black Solartex.


Major items still lacking are the top mounted Lewis gun, windshield and dummy engine. These items will be put on the list for this winter.

A nice flying shot taken at the 2020 Blue Max, Sanford, Florida. Several obvious details not accomplished yet, but the model does fly really well. 148" wingspan, 82 lbs, DA150, SEP 34x8 prop
