It was asked so I am starting a Pitts Brotherhood. I personally have owned several over the years but of late have come to fully appreciate their beauty. Any version of a Pitts is good including the Christen Eagle and the Challenger. I do ask we keep this thread Pitts related.

Hey! good idea... as you know I don't own a Pitts, but I enjoy watching them fly
I'll follow along on the sidelines, and of course I'll behave

I am currently Pitts-less, but have owned and flown several over the years.
My second airplane was an Ace Allstar Bipe....sort of Pitts like. Then an Andrews Aeromaster. A Marks Models (I think) Pitts - it had thick balsa panels joined to form an under chambered slab type of wing construction. I found a 1/3 scale Dively Pitts at a swap meet years later. Many other aerobatic bipes came and went. Time passed and then came a Cermark Pitts (Dave Patrick design). It flew great! It also got sold........as do so many of my models.
I then acquired pieces and parts for an Andy Sheber Pitts ..... but haven't got around to building it, yet. Those are the plans that I sent to you.
So, at the moment, I am just a Pitts wanna be pilot ........ but I am hoping to correct that in the next year or two.
All that being said, may I humbly ask for membership

For those that have had and have pics or currently have models, let's post them. Here is mine, a Great planes, Andy Sheber, and the EMHW. The last one is thrown in for Jeff, also a EMHW.

Hi Robert, count me in. I currently have the Beast and just started a Carf Pitts with a Moki 250. Just about ready to start the paint scheme on it. Followed your build thread from the beginning. In my book it is the best build thread I have ever followed. Keep up the fantastic work.

Hey Robert, count me in as well. Great work on the Pitts, looks fantastic. I love Bipes, but the Pitts is my favourite.
I have a 1/3 Great Planes Pitts with a Super Tigre 4500, plans for a 1/3 Pitts S2A, Pheonix Pitts Bulldog, Hangar 9 120cc Beast (not built yet) and 60e Beast, Hangar 9 46% Ultimate (not built yet), Goldberg Ultimate and 1/2 a dozen other bipes. A couple started and some in boxes still.
I would love to build a detailed scale Pitts like you have done, but I just don't have the time as I fly competitive F3A pattern and that consumes most of my building and flying time.

I do not currently own a Pitts. But I have the Mike Smart 1/3 scale plans for an S1S.
My wife keeps asking me to build a Pitts. I have to finish a few of the other planes that are in various states of construction first. But even that is on temp hold till we find a suitable roof. A place for me to build is near my wife's top of the list items on a suitable roof.
We spent a day at the Castle Atwater, Ca) giant scale event a week ago. She stopped and and admires every single Pitts on the flight line. And was like a little girl when a 1/3 scale Pitts was in the air.
When I was in my late teens I dreamed of someday building a full scale Pitts. And then came away from an eye exam almost in tears. Found out there was never any way I could pass the eye part of getting a license.
So someday I will build one. And maybe not to far in the future.
So count me in.

Propworm, if your going to post a video that is in slow motion you need to let us know. I just viewed the video and thought what a dog (underpowered). But then pulled it up on you tube and he makes note of slowing the video down in his comments.

Take Off
Straight Flight Out
Procedure Turn
Split S with smoke
Figure 8
Axial Roll to the Right with smoke
Loop with smoke
Knife Edge Pass with smoke
1/2 Reverse Cuban 8 with smoke
Traffic Pattern
Landing
All the optional’s were with smoke on makes it more difficult as any wobble or bobble is evident in the smoke trail. If the loops are not round it shows up as well. With almost no wind and right down the runway the smoke trail can really make it look like your nailing the maneuver.

That's ok my man, it was still a good representation of the airframe. There were certain aspects of the flight I was flinching and wondering if it was going to fall.

Noticed in your pictures a rendition of what appears to be the same prototype what scale is it?
