Default Royal models group

Just returned here after a five hiatus from building.
Just been kids, work, kids. But now my kids are now 10 and 13, so as a work from home dad, I am finally getting a little spare time. So back to building.
My question is, wasn't there a Royal models group here?
. Could have sworn that there was, but I am not finding it.

Default Royal group on Facebook

Thanks Foostick, yeah, I went ahead and joined them.
Could have sworn that there was once a Royal models forum here.
This site has changed alot. Just seems like a ghost town now. I guess everyone went to Facebook.
. Thanks again, Jon

There is a Royal thread on here just a few posts down.. But I don't think its real active. Honestly the Royal group seems to have turned into more of a collector thing..than building group. Which seems to include many other kit s out there..

Thanks! Did you ever get your Royal B-17 in the air?
As I seem to recall, you were going to use O.S. fs20's.

My royal b17 needs a full restoration before it's flight worthy, have to cut it up for flaps and retracts as well. I'll be on it around Christmas.

Default Royal B-17

Hah! No wonder you remembered my build!
This year I am making a point of Keeping my work bench clear of Christmas boxes and whatnot, so I can get a little work done.
. Just slapping together a VQ .90 sized P-40C Warhawk.
. Almost finished with it.
. Then I will begin cutting out my access panels on the B-17.
. Also have to do all of the Inside details so that I can start adding all the clear canopies.
