Lightbulb 3D printed spinner

Hello
I was wondering if anybody created a spinner on a 3d printer for a gas or nitro model and were you able to use an electric starter?
If you could let me know if the spinner worked of if it failed? Any feedback or tips would be very much appreciated.

thank you
Heinz

Yes, I have had several different spinners 3d printed from nylon by Shapeways. The nylon holds up to a starter as good, or better, than the usual plastic spinners made for the hobby. I've not tried making one myself from PLA or ABS though so cannot comment there.
