Hey Guys, Not for nuthin, but when you build the flaps, may I suggest that you use the Robart fowler flap hinges(the $74 ones) I am using these on my pc-12 slightly modified, and they are a blessing!

Hi all! Does anybody have drawings of Baron58 in electronic format or is able to scan them? I'd be grateful if you can send them to me at [email protected] or point to the correct resource.

We started with the T/F kit then went to a CAD program and Dave Turner has been having fun relearning it. We have a lot of work to do on the rest of the airframe. I drew the tailsurfaces but Dave will redraw in CAD. I will be starting my wing shortly. The cowlings will be glass the molds are being built at our fab shop. More to follow!!!!!

Teamscale,
Very nice work. It looks like the firewall will slide out as sort of a power module. A good idea! Is that the 'glass' from the Bonanza kit? I am guessing the Top-Flite Bonanza gear will be the choice for this model? I wish I had the brains for all that CAD 'stuff'. Do you think you will make the plans available? Okay, I've got to complain...too long between pictures!
Keep up the good work! 'Bum

Teamscale,
I have my elevators off for a repaint. I should have it back together in a week or two. I can pull it out and get some shots for you when it is all one piece. Just let me know what angles and, or details you want.

TSP. I replied to both of your e-mails, did you get them? I am going out to take pictures in the morning. I'll try and get views you might be interested in. Send your e-mail address again, maybe I sent to the wrong address. I am more than happy to photo what ever you want.
My wife will hate me even more if I try and build one of these! But I gotta have it!

Did someone photoshop the photo of the V-35 with two engines (Page 1 of this thread) or did someone (perhaps an EAA type) actually do an experimental?
The T-bone had a square tail like a T-34, as did the TravelAir. I don't think that Beech would have even entertained the idea that a v-tail design would have an acceptable Vmc.

Wow, it is real. Here is the FAA registry:
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinqu...&cmndfind.y=11
And it has a STANDARD airworthiness cert!
Here is a piece on it:

VMC is 84MPH. Stall is 62. HMMM...
