Top Gun '05 - Photos Please
Let's see your photos from Top Gun '05.
It's hard to "capture the moment" while you're creating it, show us what you got.
If you're looking for other great photo shots from Top Gun '05 there are many over on the jet site.

RE: Top Gun '05 - Photos Please
For anyone interested, I've recently posted a LOT of pictures of Top Gun 2005 in a thread by Turbulence in the RC Jets forum. You can find it simply by going to the word search feature and type Top Gun 2005 in the subject box. The search will take you to the thread for TOP GUN. I hope you enjoy all the pictures.

Is there some kind of novelty score built in to the Top Gun scoring? I can't understand how the same old tired model types can be found there year after year. For my money the torpedo bomber (Kingfisher?) is really something new.
PS. Congradulations, on your first Top Gun! It'd be an honor just to be flying -- no matter what. The "worst place" finisher at Top Gun is probably leagues better than I'll ever be able to do!

Hello carlbecker,
I posted a bunch of pictures of many of the planes flown at Top Gun 2005 on the RC Jets forum. Go there and look for a thread titled "Top Gun 2005". My pictures start on around page 5 thru 8 of that thread. You'll also see a lot of awesome pictures that John Christensen took. He's an excellent photographer. I put quite a few shots of that Vindicator, both on the ground and in the air, on that thread. I hope you enjoy them.
Sincerely,
Michael Bacon

I was there with Richard Crapp & Dave Toyer. Richards Swordfish won "Best Biplane" and Dave's Miles Messenger won "Best Pre 1932 Aircraft" and had the highest Static score which gave him a trophy for both.

Hey Ampbomber, great shot of my zero landing. I chased the B-17's with it. Can you email that to me? [email protected].
Thanks!

Haha Bob, sorry but that was Dave Toyer. You dont see me cause I'm behind the camera.
I was holding the Swordfish Thursday when Richard was running it up and that 300 V Twin felt like it was going to pull the fusalage out of the wings. He has more than enough power for that 103" WS & 33 lb aircraft. You will like yours after you run it and see just how smooth & vibration free it is.
