RE: Curtiss Goshawk Plans or kits
Baco,
Have you tried Kitcutters.com? They have an extensive plan list from a large selection of designers. I seem to remember seeing a FC-11 somewhere and it might have been there. If you find what you need there they have a list of links to the designers. I dont' think that they sell plans without a kit.
You might try the plans services of various Model mags. They have thousands of plans at reasonable prices. Just Google them.
Hope this helps.

RE: Curtiss Goshawk Plans or kits
Kitcutters does the cutting.
They list:
"Plans" are not include in any of our kits. You can either send us your plans or we can purchase them for you at additional cost. Your plans will not be damaged in the production process. Price of plans includes shipping."
Its a good resource. I have been waiting since the beginning of April for them to cut a Vought Kingfisher from SP&PS for me and still nothing (promised end of April). I have contacted them by email and left phone messages. They don't seem very responsive at all. At this point I will not contact them again, I will just cut myself.

I am currently working on plane for the Curtiss Goshawk F11C-2 (BFC-2) Id say I am 65% done they are done full size with the idea of a 1/4 true scale model. I am doing them in AutoCAD, not sure about when I will actually finish them. The plane are very detailed because of the idea of true scale model in mind. What scale did you plan on!

If you are interested in the goshawk google Var.Aviation drawings; select ww1 american flag. Good 3 views and color schemes.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I have attached three of the many drawings in pdf format for you to look at. I would say that I am almost ready for the lazer cutters. Still a few minor items to figure out. Because of the need to break it down for transport it took me a while to figure that out, the only item I have left there is a way to work the flying wire at the fuselage but it will work out. I figured out a way to remove the wings w/o rerigging it, only require minimal tuning.
I find that pdf is not supported by this methode of communications, email me directly and I will send them to you.

I am still try to get some of these promlem area cleaned up, like tankage and engine selection, and then to modify the current drawing to except that engine. I have rome work to do on the fuselage, aeliron torque tubing and a few other items. Basicly the plans are 85% done, like I said a few tune ups!

Try to find a st of plans from Richard G. Barron. They are very accurate and in scale 1/4.
Charles what about your plans, I am interesting to compare as Barrons plan are drawn back in the 80's. If you like please get in touch with me, thanks!

Plans Help
This is a very old thread, but...
I have a Curtiss Goshawk I bought from an old friend many years ago. It only flew once because the landing gear was very wobbly.
I would like to refurbish this beautiful plane and fix the landing gear problem.
I'm pretty sure he built it from Dick Barron plans as they were popular back then.
Does anyone have a set of plans laying around? I'm particularly interested in the landing gear detail. It would be very helpful before I start cutting into the fuselage to figure how the gear was built.
Thanks,
Jon
