Who ever wants it can just send me a private message, and we will make the arrangements to ship. I only want someone who loves Bonanzas to have the plane. That is why I did not put it on E-BAY.

I haven't seen a response from Robnbay and I just found I may need back surgery (having a MRI on Monday) so I am going to have to pass. catflyer send the PM and buy it, but we expect a build thread!

PM sent and I promise a build thread on it. I'm no Top Gun builder but have built a 27% Hostetler Cessna 421, a pair of 1/4 scale Waco CTO's (taper wing) with a 3rd on the table as well as a host of other planes. I have a Fiber Lite Edge 540 to finish up and a 50cc Yak to knock out but the Yak is a bARF so it will go quick. The Edge is getting skin so it's near done as well. I just relocated to Toledo and May 9th I take possession of my new house with a detached 900sq ft dedicated RC shop which is in need of a beautiful Bonanza to grace it.

Hello again... my friend is trying to get a pay pal account set up. I will let you know if he gets something set up, and you can deal directly with him. He still has the Bonanza up for sale. I had a truck driver friend that comes up your way and was going to ask him to take it for a small shipping fee, but he hurt his foot and is in the hospital... Just can't win...

Apparently I missed all the posts to this thread since the first part of April. I would still like to have the kit. Not sure if I am still in line for it or not. We are a Bonanza family!! My father and son are on their way to Oshkosh in dad's full scale Bo as I write this. Dad has built one of the TF kits and I was hoping to as well. I can send a money order via USPS if it is necessary. Here is the dad's Bo on the North 40 @ KOSH. I hope to build a TF Bo in this scheme.

This kit is a V tail,, I do not know if it can be built as a straight tail.,, ??? I was getting it ready to ship to the other fellow above, but he only wanted to use Paypal, and I don't know how you get your ''cash'' out of paypal.... Does it stay in the paypal account and you have to spend it??? I understand it is asking a lot of trust to send payment first,, not sure if I would want to do that either,,,, but I can get it out quicker that way... My friend wanted 150 plus the 'about' 20 dollars shipping. He is trying to get a paypal account set up, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. It does not have the plans with it, but the guys on here said you can get them from Top Flite still pretty cheap. We live in Jacksonville Fla... Say, if you guys are looking for a trip to take, come on down. I live very close to the Herlong Airport down here. I used to keep my Cherokee there, before my knees got to bad to pass the physical ,,,, still got a license, but no physical certificate.... My first plane was a Cessna 120.. No flaps! I really liked that plane. It got damaged here in 1993 when we had the ''storm of the century'' that caught everyone by surprise!! Bent a strut and damaged a wingtip. Fixed it and sold it a couple years later. I heard the guy almost ground looped it when he left Herlong, and soon totaled it at the airport he took it to. I never had a lesson in a tail dragger and never had a problem flying one. Can't imagine that slob destroying my baby Cessna. But, I got the Cherokee and flew it until my knees went bad, and now, fly only my RC planes. Here I go rambling on,,, Let me know if you want to work out something.... DAY/uglypug

Hi, I am a new member and came across this thread while doing a search on the N-number. I happen to own this airplane (N311BG, the actual airplane- not the model) and wonder if it was ever built with this color scheme and N-number? I'd be interested in seeing pictures. Also, anyone wanting to take pictures for their model-building projects is welcome to come visit and have at it, I'm based at Fleming Field in South Saint Paul. I also have a 1982 V35B in the same colors palette but a more custom color scheme (picture attached).

The manual and plans show how you can build the model as a V-tail version and as a straight-tail version.

HI ALO 111 - I built this plane all electric with the following:
3 Blade 15.75x13 E-flite Power 160 245 KV Phoenix HV85A 10S 4500 10S 4500

My suggestion is to go back on this forum as I have documented the build along with how I positioned the lipos. Here are a few pictures. Good luck building

It is worth your time to review all post - lots of good information. Pay specific attention to the post recommending changing the incidense on the V-tail

Can't believe this thread is STILL going on.....since 2002. What I REALLY can't believe is that I'm STILL not finished building my TF Bonanza. I'm going to be one of those guys who winds up doing taxi tests when I finally finish this plane because I'll never want to fly it....LOL

I have a TF Cessna 182, amoung others, in the same state. One of the guys in the 50+ thread is considering starting a nonfinisheraholic support group!

Thought I was one of the only one in this boat...good to know I won't be the only one in the new support group!.

I've dragged my poor plane to several different states, shipped it from MA to CA. Hauled it to CO from CA. Hauled it again from CO to ND. Packed it back up and dragged it to AZ from ND. Moved last week from AZ to TN.
BUT>>>>>>. great news..... I actually worked on it last night, painted the cockpit kit and covered my seats in cloth for a more scale look.
I still can't believe it's been 14 years. I've flown and sold many other planes in this span of time. Guess this plane is going to remain in my hangar a long time.

I cleaned out the garage this summer and found one project I thought I had loss over 10 years ago.

It's amazing how old our stuff gets as we plug along in this hobby isn't it? I still have my original starter from 1987 and it works great!

Will this plane fly well on an O.S. Engine- GT22 ? I'm thinking about switching this plane over to gas.

Prairie Mike, if you won't be finishing your Bonanza, I"ll be passing through the DFW area next if you want to sell your plane to a fellow Bonanza lover.
