I've just ordered from Rcstore the Mark Sirianni Pitts plans (1.20 4-cycle).
Has anyone seen or built this model ?
Does anyone have any information ?
Does anyone have the magazine article (sorry I dont know when or which mag), in scan or electronic form ?
Thanks guys in advance

I built this model last winter, and put about 60 flights on it this summer.
Overall a good aircraft. I did make a couple of mods to the wing to suit my building style, but nothing serious. (Dual aileron servos, built up ailerons).
One thing of note. The plans do not show any side or down thrust for the engine. I built mine like this, and have since added both to tame down the flight characteristics.
As for the construction article, MAN usually ships a copy with the plans. If you don't recieve, I'll see if I can find someone to scan mine for you.

I used the OS 91FX on a 14-6 prop. At 9.5 pounds dry weight (on a cheap fish scale), it does not provide unlimited performance, but more than enough for scale flying. Usually cruise around at 1/2 throttle, and punch it for vertical lines.
I was wrong on the thrust. I've not added any down, but have added 4 washers under the left side of the mount to produce right thrust. I don't know what the degree measurement is, I just added washers until it flew about right. Spinner is now not centered, but you could offset the mount to compensate during construction.
I'm still experimenting with incidence, etc. I notice a very strong roll coupling with rudder, making knife edge very difficult. In fact, the aircraft flys quite well on rudder / elevator only. Plans show 0/0/0 on incidence, I've gone to -1deg on the top wing (common setup for bipes) but not sure if it's really made an improvement.
Hope this helps . . . .
