I built a TF Cessna 182 its fiberglass with PPG automotive paint on it (you can see a pic in my planes or on my web page at WWW.GEOCITIES.Com/HYFLYER81 The plane is glue riveted fiberglass cowl LED landing lights strobes nav lights and mar beacon. It has digital servos on the control surfaces. It weights 15lbs with a Saito 1.50 in it. It also has onboard glow in it oleo frt strut nose gear. Here is the dilemma, this past spring I made a STUPID mistake! I had the plane running spinning a nice graupner 15/8 3 blade prop shoe horned into a Tru-Turn 2 1/4 spinner any ways the engine was at idle I was taxing it around in my yard to see what the turn radius was on the nose gear when all at once it went wide open throttle and hit my autos in the driveway. It damaged the prop the spinner put some nicks in the tail, one of the prop blade opened a small hole under the wing and put some cracks in the paint here and there. The wing tip and elevator tip has some damage. I havent flown is almost 2yrs now and I'm thinking about selling the plane as is and dont know what to ask for it? Should I sell it without the Saito and radio? Trash the plane sell the radio and engine? I will add pics of damage!

A Saito 150? Holy over power, Batman! I've got a Magnum 91 in mine, and can't imagine putting in a bigger engine. To each their own, etc.
Now then, nice rivet work on the plane. I spent 300+ hours building my 182. It looks like you spent at least much time. The damage all appears to be cosmetic, so if it were me, I would repair it. Some putty, and a airbrush would take care of that damage no problemo.
