Default Floats?

I'm building a Top-Flite Cessna for someone who would like to use floats on it. After doing some research I decided to go with Sig floats (can those Balsa USA floats really be worth the money?). What determines where to mount them? How are they positioned in relation to the CG? Thanks for any replies.

Default Floats?

That's exactly the kind of info I was looking for...I knew I should have kept all those back issues of RCM.

Thanks!

Glad it was what you were looking for Richard. I love floats on snow or water!

You should check with SeaCommander at www.seacommanderc.om. I just put a set of their floats on my Top Flite Cessna and they look awesome with theri scale hardware. They are a lot of help with info too.

Hmmm, they are nice floats but way too expensive. Either way I already ordered the Sig floats.

Default floats

I will get some pics done as soon as I can. Take some the other day of work in progress but my digital camera did not cooperate. Painting is about to begin. These floats do not compare to any other. They will last a lifetime and come ready to prime and paint. You do not have to use their mounting hardware but it makes it more scale.
