It looks like you could build this in 1/4 scale and fly it in a big back yard! :-)

It would make an excellent replacement for Beaver/Otter bush planes. I would love to see a 1/4 scale version or even just a set of plans.

A bit of hyperbole on my part, of course, but based on its specs, it'll get into and out of amazingly small fields. Soooo, if you've got a five acre yard... ;-) Some folks in the midwest and south do have such yards. With Fowler flaps and leading edge cuffs like the full scale one, a 1/4 scale (11'3" span) model would probably land at a fast walk. Now if I can find the money for one of those Wren turboprops...
