Default Plans wanted

I am looking for plans for a Miles Messenger. If you have a set or know where I can get a set please let me know.

Thanks

There is a flying scale rubber plan in the Aeromodeller range which you can access through www.modelflying.co.uk. You'll see the catalogue mentioned on one of the ads in the right side of the window. I know nothing about the plan, but it costs about £6.00, so it is probably quite big and could be converted to electric quite easily. RCMW do a CD of a photographic survey of a Messenger, but no plan.

Best of luck with your search.

Check out the third plan from the top on this page: [link=http://www.modelflyermagazine.com/Frames/Plans/Plans03.htm]R/C Model Flyer[/link]. I hjave seen the plans and if you are up to it the result will be a beautiful scale model of a very interesting subject.

That would be what I want. Just one problem though, while they accept PayPal for subscriptions, you can not order plans online.

I sent them an email requesting an exception to ordering the plans, hopefully they will allow it.

Thanks for the link. I ordered the plans from them tonight. The plane has a 22" wingspan, so I am hoping they will enlarge reasonably well. Ideally, I would like a 1/7 scale (62" wingspan) so I can electrify it. The plans mentioned by Red B would be perfect. I could have them reduced to the size I need without any loss of detail. One problem - they state they do not sell plans via the internet. I emailed them and requested an exception, so I will see what happens.

There is a Miles Messenger plan available from www.modelflyermagazine.com . Go to the "shop" click plans and go to page 3. Its on there.
It was featured in the magazine as well so you could (presumably) order that back issue with the plan. This ones a bit bigger you would have to reduce it!

Graham Smith
Class 1 R/C scale design, '60' - '100' engines and 5/6 channel, 100" wingspan.
