The maiden flight video of Luke zollner's Royal corsair surfaces again!

For sure this si it, I recognize the man in the blue and white striped pants and teness shoes to be Luke himself as I saw this a few years back.

Thank you all!
My plan was to start rebuilding my P-38 in a bag Monday anyway. It is now a P-38 on the board!!! I have talked about this one for a long time. Well here we go! I will drop a pic here every once in a while, but all the updates will be on the RC Scale Builder website, as I noted earlyer.
I still have two more Royal P-38 airframes. One of those wil be covered with Flite Metal as Tommie McGuire's Pudgy V.
Then two VQ P-38's that will be super detailed. But that is for another thread.

Man, sorry to see your P-38 went in...[

Out of curiosity, what radio were you using? I lost my P-51 at the East end of the field on Saturday to a radio lockout, on JR 2.4...

I won 2nd place multi with her as a last hurra! (I changed the model on the plaq to a P-38) That makes six awards with this model.

There is a 63" G model 109 kit by "Ikuta" currently on ebay. The parts look very similar to the way Royal/Marutaka produced theirs. Does anyone know anything about this brand?

Got a new Royal bird at a swap meet last weekend!
paid $200 and not for sale
Royal cessna 310.
two new o.s. .40 sf engines, standard servo's and air retracts. never finished or flown.
However the center setction of the wing has weak sheeting and the nacelles were never fuelk proofed before attaching.
I'm removing the nacelles as they were ca'd in place and would like to glass and re attach them.
Almost forgot the guy never cut into the leading edge of the wing for proper fuel tank placement! one nacelle ahs been safely removed.

S-C-O-R-E-!!!
Great score I-fly-any-and-all. It's like getting a Royal Cessna 310 ARF.
That's not a bad trim scheme on her now either.
Good things come to nice guys. Comes from 'clean living' my Dad says(with a wink).

Congratulations!
I love the Royal/Marutaka Cessna 310, right sizing, looks beautiful and it should make a very good flyer too.
Very lucky you were to get it at such a good price, with engines and retracts included.

Very nice Dail! Is the blue and silver one dead now (I can't remember ****...CRS)? I loved that one! Happy New Year to you and all! Good luck to all on their future builds...my 1/6th Royal Corsair blow-up needs to get going in force soon (working on TW). - The "Author"

Hi..Not knowing much about these older kits, I stumbled onto someone selling stuff on Craigs....They did not seem to know much about the stuff..anyway....the end cap on the box says" Royal Products...6190 Eastevans-Denver,Colorado....made in japan..."
It has large yellowish looking detailed plans/drawing that says ZERO FIGHTER...wingspan....1310mm (52")
length 1008mm (40"),etc..etc....Designed by M. Kato....
Is this the same kit that the first post of this thread.... with pics of the Zero.... was built from.....
There does not appear to be a cowl included..plans show what looks to be balsa blocks to be sanded to shape....
Anywho..just curious if this is what I bought...
Thx in advance for any info...
