I have heard that before, mine is reinforced with carbon fibre sheet both sides of the main spar where it's cut away where the leg folds down, I can't find retracts for it, tryed robart 150's in it, but the legs don't seem long enough?

For those of you interested I found the plans for the Baron in the UK. This gentlemen has over 40,000 plans, can scan up to 42" will enlarge or reduce does it all. He is shipping me a set that has been enlarged to 76" so I can use the RC Aerodyne windows. http://www.model-plans.co.uk/index.html

I am in the process of building a Raiden J2M3 40 size 50 w.s. warbird. Are there any of you that have finished building one of these and can tell things to avoid or tips. I am modifying the plans so it is going to be more sport than scale because it is going to be for pylon racing not for show. I have redesigned the formers so that they have very little concave on the sides and I deleted the engine mount beams so I can put in 16oz tank. and a modern engine mount. I am also working in mastercam so I can cut the parts out with my cnc router if this plane works out to be good flyer for me. .. Any input or help would be appreciated. thanks

Hey Guys
A very dear friend of mine passed away and he left a Royal Beechcraft Stagger Wing Kit. I would like to sell it for his widow. The box looks old and has been taped shut with masking tape, but every thing inside looks good. I really don't know what it is worth, and I don't have the time to build it myself, so if you are interested ley me know. You might have to PM me because I can not get notifications from this site.
Thanks
Ron

I thought I'd start an area for all interested in any Royal/Marutaka kits. Here's mine; a Zero kit I purchased and constructed mainly from '79 to early '80's. I glassed it with .06 oz., did the rivets, and painted with chevron perfect paint. It has Rhom retracts, robart retractable tailwheel and split flaps. Now that I have gotten back into it I just need to mount control surfaces, find a new canopy, mount my radio and I'm thinking about an O.S. or Supertigre .90. I have an unbuilt .60 Royal Corsair kit that I may just hold on to, and order plans, e.t.c. somewhere for the building. Interested in seeing others projects.

I Fly,
What do you want to know about Royal? Royal Products Corp. was owned and managed by Reynold (Ron) Murray. The last I heard he still lived in south Denver suburb. Bill was an artist who I think did some of the box label designs. I don't think he had anything to do with kit design.
