Royal Kits
#1581

Thanks. I have a ton of build pics and steps from beginning to updated today. But for some reason it won't load them here without photobucketing a ton of photos. Feel free to go see them here.

My Feedback: (1)

Here are picturs of the royal dc-3/c47 i picked up for $150 at a swap meet over the weekend.
The guy thought it was a top flite kit and i mentioned it couldnt be becuase of the way it was built, for example, "Aluminum cowls, the wire landing gear, markings on the wood, the single stand for the fuel tank built above the center of the wing.
all point to royal!
fuselage and center of wing are painted silk, rest of the wing and control surfaces is monokote.
the landing gear is presently bolted to a piece of wood and has some shock absorbing set up,
fortunately i have a kit new in box and i looked at the plans and they show how to take the wire gear and make functional retracts!
