Default Passing of a great scale modeler

I have received word that Claude McCullough has passed away. A long time employee of Sig Mfg., Claude was a dedicated scale modeler and a gentleman. He will be missed.

He was one of the very best, His passion for designs that would bring many into the hobby was never ending.
A Friend and a Honest Man that took the time to help others and share something He Loved"

The last letter I rcv'd from him was after completing the Trella, and the "Spark" conveyed thru that letter will always shine.

Very Sad indeed............................................ .......... My Prayers for his family.

I never met him but I have built a number of his planes and loved reading his column in RCM. Right now I am building a Senior Kadet that I am bashing into the Bellanca CF. I always liked that he built interesting planes. He will be missed.

That's too bad. I think I'll head to the field with my Seniorita and skiis and do a tribute flight.

It is sad, but unfortunately the pioneers of r/c and many of our favorite airplanes are passing on.
